Dublin Stores


Dublin has some excellent shopping and a number of fine stores and some large shopping centres. We have listed the stores first with the shopping centres beneath them.


Clery & Co. Department Store

Found on O'Connell Street, Clery's is one of Dublin's best and biggest stores. Its multi floor level departments include everything from clothes to house wares, gifts and computers. There are also some good local keep sakes to remind you of your visit. The store was recently renovated and has a more stylish and up-market look to it.

Roches Stores (and Cosmetic Hall)

Best known for its exclusive cosmetics and perfumes, Roches' cosmetics hall has all the fashions and prices to match. The rest of the store is cothing based and has an extensive men's section with practical and fashion garments. A popular shop with the ladies.

Arnotts Department Store

This is the oldest department store in Ireland and it was established in 1843. It lies in the heart of town, just off O'Connel Street and sells just about everything. It is a must visit store for any shopper.

Brown Thomas

Located on Grafton Street, this is a store that has been around for over 150 years and it specialises in fashion, beauty, lingerie and considers itself Ireland's top "lifestyle" sote. It has all the tpo designs and is exclusive and expensive.

Penneys

Penneys is in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and is a largish department Store offering fashion and clothing at Down to earth Prices. It is always popular and busy.

Avoca

Avoca is a multi level department store covering everything from men and women's fashions, household goods and wares, to aromatics and ceramics. It is a fun stor to walk around.

Debenhams

As in mainland UK, this is a very large department store with fashion, house goods and furniture, sporting goods and much more.

Dunnes Stores

Often desribed as an "Irish institution", this store was revampted and refurbished a few years ago and is ever popular. Dunnes is a great place for fashion bargains and caters for both sexes and children.

Guiney & Co.

A popular Irish store known for being a place to get a good deal. It sells clothing (mens and womens) along with items for the home. It is somewhere to get a bargain.

Marks & Spencer

Leading brand store which duplicates its image and lines accroos the world.

Roches Stores

Nice department store offering fashion and clothes, house goods and furnishings and all at fair prices.

Arnotts

Arnotts is one of the biggest department stores in Dublin and has been significantly refurbished. Its stocks cover fashion clothing, and just about everything else you are ever likely to need.


Dublin Shopping Centres

Dublin has several shopping centres all holding a number of different stores. The two large shopping centres that are central to Dublin city's North Side are "Jervis" and "Ilac", whilst "Stephens Green" is on the SOuth Side of the city.


Jervis Shopping Centre

This is Dublin's largest city centre shopping emporium with 3 floor levels. It has a number of top brands like M and S, Debenhams, and Top Shop and the third floor is a mix of cafes and restaurants. It is located on Jervis Street.

Ilac Shopping Centre

Ilac is located on Henry Street and was Dublin's first proper shopping centre. It has a number of well known stores spread across its single floor level including Dunnes, Roches Stores, Champion Sports and Argos.

Stephens Green

This is a large new centre with plenty of stores, large and small, and all are spread across 3 floors. The centre ia airy and spacious and between its many retaillers you can buy just about anything.

Blanchardstown Shopping Centre

This outer city shoping centre is the biggest in Ireland and has a cinema and a leisure complex with ten pin bowling in addition to all of the top retail outlets. It is something a kin to Britain's Xcape centres and is popular with all ages and not just shoppers.

Dundrum Shopping Centre

The plan is that this new "South of the city" shopping centre will ultimately be the biggest one in Europe. It has all the usual features of mega malls including cinemas, restaurant areas and loads of shops and stores. It is in Dundrum.

Square Shopping Centre

This large centre is the shape of its name and is three floors in size with Dunnes, roches and Argos as just some of its tenants. It also has a cinema and restaurants and you can happily while away the hours here.
